History

Gryph became an Outcast almost as soon as he was born. He grew up with his parents in an isolated existence. Because he was an Outcast, his family was distant and belittling. Once he became of age, he was banished to a cursed forest. He was given the impossible task of nurturing the forest all by himself; instead, he excelled at the job and tamed it. The forest is forbidden grounds to all other Byrd as a result of his overprotectiveness, and he has lived there up to the current storyline.

Personality

Gryph is fairly distrusting of other people but he doesn't always show it on the surface. He likes to laugh, and enjoys fighting with Phoenix, though he'll never admits he likes the kid. He's a very deep thinker, though he looks like he'd rather party than study. He enjoys being alone, but when he gets with his friends he'll be more than happy to be the center of attention. Fiercely protective of his friends, he'd do anything for them, even when it comes to interacting with people he wouldn't want to talk to in a million years. Lots of teasing and light sarcasm when playing around, but is known to get very serious when it matters.
