Part thirteen )
About this Entry
Chuck does NaNo all year long
Nov. 26th, 2009 @ 06:59 pm (no subject)
So it took me an entire year to continue working on this, but I'm glad I did. I really want to finish it. This is the next four thousand words. This isn't counted in NaNo cause I did it last year, but the next part about halfway through will have what I picked up this year. There may be a few off bits, cause I can't remember what I wrote last year and don't have time to reread, but this is a first draft for a reason, am I right? And as usual, un-beta'd.

Without further ado:

Nov. 23rd, 2009 @ 02:32 am Prompt Four - Dean in despair
Not so much with the despair, but it totally counts.

Prompt: Dean-in-despair
Characters: Gabriel, Dean, Thumper!Dean, Appleberry!Dean, Castiel, Fallen!Castiel, Sam, Blue, Ruby, Raphael is mentioned
Warnings: Bad. Pain, war, death, blood, evil. Yeah, it's a bit of a bad fic. Not to be confused with badfic, but I could easily label this with that too.

The attack came without warning, and the blade slid in horrifyingly easy. )

Nov. 12th, 2009 @ 01:14 pm Lost!Dean - Round Four
My god this part was long. The first scene ended up being not long enough, so I continued writing, and it took another thousand words to finish this part. Gah. Loooooot of words.

Prompt: Lost!Dean
Who: Dean

I suppose that 'already dead' thing comes in handy, doesn't it? )

Better late than never. I despise this prompt, and made up for it by making Dean crawl through ick. I feel much better now.

Prompt: Lost!Dean
Who: Dean, Theoland
Warning: Try not to imagine the majority of this part. ^^;

Nov. 1st, 2009 @ 05:56 pm Future: Sam - Peace
NaNo is here again and this year I am doing a series of prompts for my roleplay group. So read if you like but don't expect to really understand them. lol

As with last year, these are wordy and unbeta'd. And considering my talent for writing they're probably not very good at all. *le sigh* But hey, I'm getting em done.

And so, I start off the year with my first prompt. enjoy

Prompt: Future: Sam - Peace
Pairings: Gabe/Dean, Ruby/Dean, Sam/Blue
Warnings: Character death

In the end it wasn't a battle that took out Sam Winchester )

May. 11th, 2009 @ 01:53 pm ACen and the most terrifying night of my life.
Hey guys, I know it's been ages since anyone has seen me on this name. I've been...kind of avoiding it, to be perfectly honest. ;__; I do love all you guys, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes.

Anyway, this last weekend is alternately the greatest and worst of my entire life. I went to ACen with a good friend of mine. It. Was. Amazing. Well, what little I actually saw of it. But bad news first.

Friday night, on the way home, Stars and I missed our last train and had to sit in the middle of Chicago. We were there about an hour and a half in the cold while my dad came to pick us up. When we got back home, we picked up my car from the train station and were on our way home when I fell asleep at the wheel. We'd been up almost two full days with maybe a couple hours sleep between us. It...wasn't a pretty crash. I'm not quite sure what happened but we hit my dad's van and almost wrapped around a pole. My poor car is totaled. Not sure how the hell we got out of it alive, much less unharmed. The worst the both of us got are bruises and whiplash. No broken bones. No blood (except for a few tiny glass scrapes). We're both just peachy. The pictures of the crash though? Absolutely awful. I can't think up a single reason why either of us are alive except for divine intervention. I am not kidding. It was the scariest moment of my life. I don't want to drive anymore, I jump when I hear squealing tires. Those of you who have never been in a car accident, there is no possible way you can understand what it is like, or what the aftermath is like. I'm just lucky I haven't dreamed of it.

With that out of the way though, I have to say just one thing that a million people across the country will understand immediately:

Viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!!!! Vic was at ACen this year, when he shouldn't have been. He went last year so when we planned the trip we had no idea he was going to be there at all. But he decided a few months ago that he really wanted to go this year too and OMG he is SO awesome! He's so sweet and fluffy and he gives the best hugs in the world. The panels he was on were so funny. >_____< It was the best weekend ever. We didn't get to go to his concert Saturday cause we passed out all day and were so sore, but we made both autograph signings (the only reason it is okay to stand for three hours in a row), the Ouran Q&A and the Vic Q&A. It was amazing. We also saw like 345972345 million awesome cosplays, including the second hottest FFVII Cid I have ever seen. We also made two yaoi panels. It was so much fun. I didn't get much loot, but I got a CrossxAllen doujinshi, a sexy dark fanart poster (siiiiiiigned) and got my badge signed by Vic, Colleen and Caitlin. 8DD

The weekend pretty much balanced itself out but if I had the chance to go back to Thursday and decide not to go in order to avoid the crash, I would have gone anyway. Just cause the con was that fun. SOOO many awesome artists. :O If I could have, I would have spent the entire weekend in Artist's Alley. I would love to have a booth there, you know? If I practice enough, I could be apart of that one day. ;____; It'd be so epic. I think I have a dream now.

Gaaah, the colors! >.< If any of those who read this had a booth there, then I totally love you. 8D

Death Star
Dec. 22nd, 2008 @ 07:15 pm (no subject)
A little over an hour ago (6:00 PM, December the 22nd, 2008- Central and Pacific time) my great grandmother died. I've known her my entire nineteens years of life and words alone can not express how much she meant to all of us in our family.

Not only did she hold our family together, but she made all of the family get togethers and holidays worth being at. Brought everyone together, even if only a few days a year, to be happy.

She did so many wonderful things in her lifetime. Not just for our family, but for the community we all grew up in. She made a small run down 'wrong side of the tracks' town into one of the best places a person can grow up in. The memories I hold in my heart have got to be of the best childhood anyone could ever hope for.

She was so strong. Even after my great grandpa died she stood strong and stuck it out, staying with us a good eleven years more; helping us out and keeping us all together.

A few years ago she got really sick and we thought that was it. But she got better. As happy as I was, I couldn't help but being sad. This strong woman I grew up knowing was replaced with a frail shell of a person; confined to a bed and forced to have a caretaker.

I can hardly remember what she was like before this.

For four years she remained with us, suffering and getting worse and worse. And these last few months, we knew it was only a matter of time. She waited, holding on for Halloween; for the election (she voted Obama and I am so glad she could see history made before she died); and today the only thing she was holding on for was my aunt, uncle, and young cousin were coming down from Ohio for Christmas.

She managed to hold on long enough to see them.

She died today. I can hardly breathe as I type this because she was very well loved by all of us and it hurts, so much. But I am glad. She's finally at peace and with her beloved husband again. Up in heaven with the God she believed in so strongly. I can not help but be thankful that she no longer has to suffer with weakness and humiliation; unable to speak or even remember people some days.

God bless you, and rest in peace Nana.

R.I.P.
Bertha J. Hofer
We will always remember what you have done for us.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In March I broke [info]the_jabbermuse's X-Box (-12 points). In February I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). In January I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In August I helped [info]bloody_blade29 see the light (8 points). Last Thursday I bought porn for [info]ambitiousfaith (-10 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-700 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

Sincerely,
Dannipet

...I also think making Hiei see the light should have either given me WAY more points than 8, or lost me some points. Suppose it depends on the point of view of who's looking at it.

I was on a roll the other day. :D And today, I mostly edited around to buff up the word count to 4000 cause I didn't want to start another scene and split it up just to make my goal word count excerpt batches.

So here we go, the start of the good stuff. ^_____^ Tell me what ya think.
